We are seeking independent and self motivated direct support professionals for various times throughout the week and weekend. We do not require an open availability for this position, but a consistent availability is helpful to success.

Note; this job is a part-time or full-time position, hours and schedules may vary.

Our staff makes a difference every day in the lives of our participants. True Comfort has a mission of supporting and advocating for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The most vital work is done every day by the support professionals who provide one-on-one support to our participants.

Duties: our staff help participants meet their individual goals through skill building, community, networking, personal care, and supported employment. And because services are provided in participants, homes and communities, staff must be able to work independently, take initiative, and communicate professionally with participants families and community partners in a timely manner.

Experience is not necessary. Training is provided. We have their shifts available.

Requirements;
– Being committed to people with disabilities
– Ability to work with minimum supervision
– Candidates must be at least 18 years old
– Candidates must have a high school diploma or a GED
– Valid drivers license, inability to transport clients (if applicable).
